I reiterate , gut shots of your amplifiers are helpful.

You say the “tone is too fast”…reminds me of metal oxide… what brand are your power supply capacitors?

I find everything that is disliked can be alleviated by addressing the power supply. I would be curious to see the preamp , but my money is on the power supply.
