Noob Question
I've been lurking and reading some but I'm still unsure if there is an ultimate Dumble channel switcher. I believe the ODS has the famous Dumble (Robben Ford) lead sound. And the SSS has the big powerful clean (SRV)sound. Is there an amp that can approximate both? It seems that the touring pros that use Dumbles use them in tandem with other amps like Fenders for cleans and Dumble for the OD? KWS and Mayer come to mind. Am I right?

Re: Noob Question
The SSS will give you great cleans but the ODS is not too shabby either. I have both but the ODS gets first pick every time.
I'm guessing the use of multiple amps is less to do with the ODS having a crappy clean and more to do with the balancing act between OD and clean. The ODS can be a little finicky when it comes to balancing the two.
BTW KWS uses rebuilt fenders with pedals

Re: Noob Question
I read somewhere that all of KWS fenders were modified by HAD

Re: Noob Question
I dont recall exactly, but KWS definitely ssid in a rig review that his custom shop 57 deluxe reissue was rebuilt by HAD. He said that amp had "it".
