Reverb isn't as big here in the UK but I'll look into it because I've had too many bad experiences with ebay too.
Thinking about my second build.

Some doubt about uptake off Reverb from audiophiles, and yes it is tough finding sure ways to sell if you’re a private person with a few valuable items ..

Well I don't seem to be getting rich on these!

I put 26 x 6939's on Ebay at £50 and didn't get a sniff so I put the 3 boxed ones back on for £15 and got the same result.
Also a dealer offered me £100 for all 6 rectifiers which I turned down.

I'm starting my first build soon so I figured that when I get the transformer in at least I can test the rectifiers and sell them as known good ones or if I like them, keep them in the amp.
I don't know how they'll sound but they look a lot cooler than a 5AR4 :D

Hello -

Seems like a fine plan. If the CV378 is at spec it's close enough you likely won't notice any differences.
