I do not need the many wiring option, so I am very interested in this one, provided it is good for a single ended amp "à la" Vox AC4...
The datasheet -
http://www.hammondmfg.com/pdf/EDB1750B.pdf - reads:
5k5 primary / 8 Ohms secondary
10 Watts / 70Hz - 10 kHz
That seems good to me, but maybe I am not aware of something else, which makes this transformer not so good for my purpose?

It should work nicely and it's greater mass since it's rated for 10 watts will make for tighter and lower Bass response.

Good success with one, albeit with different power tubes and about 10 years ago. Confident it will work for your design pretty much just as Steve explained.

Thank you too!
This 1750B looks much more the original AC4 OT (but turned 90 degrees, like a smaller footprint was needed), so I was puzzled that it does not seem to be used more often...

I hate you...
(maybe I'm just crying)
I don't even want to know how much (more) it will cost to have it shipped to me. Not to mention the customs...

Around 43€. Yes I know, even if there's 20$ more for shipping from the US AES/tubesandmore.com remains cheaper but you got the idea.
Many guys in the US might be interested by xtian's suggestion, anyway.
