Anodized Liverpool chassis

Post by kineteks »

I've anodized the chassis I got with my Ceriatone Liverpool kit which will act as an electrical insulator. Other than the star grounds and connection to the bottom plate in the cab, will I need to remove the anodizing from any other connection points? Ex. tube sockets, board stand-offs etc...

Board standoffs should be fine as they are not electrical connections only mechanical.

But I would remove material around the screw holes for the jacks, pots and tube socket screws.

I'd go farther and tap the ground holes instead of thru-drilling. Kep-nuts do a good job scrapping the surface.
