I bought mine for the dumble modded bassman there.

I didn't see any Heyboer specifically. They showed Hammond though, and I ordered the PT, OT and Choke. The site said the PT may have to ship directly from the manufacturer due to constrained supply. Hopefully not a long delay...

EDIT: may have figured something out. I followed the 'adapted layout' for setting up the bias pot which shows a 47k resistor off the bias pot to ground. Talbany's shows a 27k resistor. Wonder if that's my issue. When I get a chance, I'll go back through that area and make sure it's setup like talbany's layout.
Hi PicknStrum,

Really nice build, love the cab! Which layout did you use for it? You mention Tony's but the one I found in the files section for a 102 has a different power board setup than you ended up with.

About to embark on my first build from scratch..

Cheers,
Hey,

Thanks for the kind words and sorry it took me so long to respond. Obviously the guys who already responded to you are the experts here but I will add a few things.

I used the Hammond transformers and they work fantastic. I actually went with them based on price and really have not been disappointed at all.

The layout is the normal layout as mentioned above, but Vertigo hooked me up with his own DIY layout, which only had the updated axial board like I used and it really cleared things up for me. Also, in addition to Tony's and Vertigo's layout, I used this layout here:

https://tubeamparchive.com/download/file.php?id=23252

I'll contact Vertigo and ask him if it's alright if I share his layout with you. I think at one point he was going to post it but not sure if he got around to it. Another thing that's great about Vertigo's layout is he includes Martin Manning's foot-switchable FET boost mod in it - which is fantastic. To me that is way more useful than the PAB.

Also, you mentioned you're starting to grab parts, I did make a parts list in the #102 thread of the files section. I tried to be as detailed as possible.

Good luck with the build!

No worries. Yes I've already been in touch with Sean, he and I both live in Portland, and I have his layout. Also have the others from Tony. I did take your parts list and in conjunction with a couple others I found am modifying it as I'm sourcing a lot of my parts from AES as well as Mouser and Allied. Thanks for that though, they are a boatload of work, maybe as much as building the actual amp.

Cheers,
Phil
