A Dremel will change a 28mm hole to a 30mm hole with not much work.
But, I would just buy sockets that fit the holes. Like these black Celanex...

I agree with getting ones that will fit the hole, however in Aust I’m basically limited to Beltons or cheaper nastier ones unless I ship in from the US which means premium prices after our crappy $ conversion rate and shipping.

Just from a local supplier.
Another question I have about the 5e3 layout is the grounding - on looking at various layouts I see some only have the first 16uF filter cap tied tho the HV ground with the other two caps tied to the pre amp ground (Webber and Trinity), and some include the first two 16u filter caps tied to the HV ground and only the third cap tied to the pre amp ground (mojotone and Rob.R layout). Which one is best?
