Hi TAG
Longtime lurker, but ive always loved seeing all your builds, going for my first post so be kind!
Wondering if someone can help me out as I only really build guitar pedals and thats from kits, I'm not all that knowledgeable when it comes to building anything so you guys will definitely know best..
I've played a few and I know how the sound differs from a standard Fender style amp.
I'd like to have a pedal like the Kingsley Maiden D which is the ODS clean channel or if possible a Two Rock preamp section with a single tube in a pedal, can anyone help me?
Best regards
Tim

Ironically the Dumble ODS clean channel is more or less a fender amp full stop, especially the low plate classic.
Are you wanting just a pre amp to use with a cab sim or something?
otherwise just use a fender amp and.........
If you want a tube OD pedal see if you can find the Hughes and ketner tube factor second hand

or try this kit from Tube town.

Thanks for the reply!
Exactly that, I would like to use the pedal with a cab sim, currently building a new board for when the band commences again and would like to see how far I can take it. Unfortunately I cant use an actual Amp while gigging anymore so we're down to using amp sims.
I know they are similar in design but what does separate them is enough to make them sound different..the Dumble just has that halo around the note and that buttery midrange, its no where as stiff and stale where as the Fender doesn't have that.
Best regards

If you can't use and amp then I'd just get your self a Kemper stage and have done. By the time you've messed around with pre amps, some sort of decent cab sim/IR you'll be at the cost of a kemper stage anyway.
just my 2 cents.
I sell profiles of my dumbles so I've been down this path too

I’m looking to do the exact same thing! I’d love just a clean Dumble/Two Rock preamp to run into my cab sim. I’ve had Kemper, and it still just misses that tube warmth. Besides, tubes are cool!

Re: Dumle ODS clean in a pedal?
I have an Ethos overdrive. I think it is an amazing pedal. Turns every cheap transistor amp into a Dumble like amplifier. Great clean and overdrive tones. It can be used in front of an amp or as a preamp plugging it directly in the effect return, bypassing the preamp of the amp you are using. Really ideal for sessions. It has a speaker sim, but i never use this because I only play it live. Get one with the TLE option.
