I don't know the story on them.  They were German but I'm not sure if they were actually German-made.  Mine looks like this.  I got some in a Marshall Jubillee amp I bought (these were stock tubes in at least some) and liked them so I bought some more (sold the Jube with the original tubes in it).

RFT was the OEM for Siemens and later Telefunken tubes, they are not new, but they are pretty fantastic!
The HRM Dumbles I've seen with EL34's had the Siemens Branded RFT power tubes, they are not that easy to find these days, I paid like 225 for the last quad I bought.
for new 6l6 I like Winged C(SED) and the Tung-Sol 6l6GC-STR (Takes 500v like a champ!!)
