Larry forgot that day his Dumble (or his Bludotone) ... but what a sound! (edit : YT video)

Post by j0k3335 »

It looks like that in the "Festival de Jazz de Vitoria-Gasteiz" in 2010, Larry Got some trouble and didn't get his Dumble ( or Bludotone :) ... may be too soon in 2010 ? ) !!!

So, I see 2 Twin ( correct me if necessary ? ) ... and the sound was really good
Of course, some sparkle, some dynamic of a Dumble/Bludotone were not here ... but he has some kind of sustaining notes like in a Dumble ( ok, it easier with an hollowbody !).

And he didn't used his "Number One" the 1969 ice tea ES335, this N°2 , as I understand is a 1968 BUT with some ... PAFs :)

So, I have already one question : for the clean sounds, some good Twin could be really OK :D

BUT for the "crunchy/overdrive" sounds, what do you think : Zendrive , Dumkudo , ???

Anyway, ... it seems that Larry can sound real good... in every situation 8)

Crisp tone, like biting into fresh fruit.

Fixed the link the old 'youtube' button doesn't work right, so I should hide it. The new "FulLYouTube' button does... use that

Joe is using tweed twins there. A very different animal to what most folks mean when they refer to a 'twin'

I can guarantee if you put Fender Twin on you rider when doing fly dates you will NOT get a tweed twin :D
