I'd used this bass in a video shoot for a record with Emma Bunton from the Spice girls back in the day and it had spent all day underwater. I'd pulled the frets as the song was a cover of 'what i am' by Edie Brickell and I'd used a frettless on it.
i thought it would be junk afterwards but it dried out and worked, so I used it on our live shows.
So 10 years later it's on my couch again. I thought I should plug it in and see what's what.
Now a few people have asked about playing bass through guitar amps, so here you are: My Bluesmaster wet/dry rig , EVM 12L sealed ported cab and alnico 2x12 wet cab. Sounded real nice in the room, the phone hasn't done a bad job of picking up the sound if you use phones.

seriously though the bluesmaster sounds great with a bass through the EVM cab lots of bottom end and a nice clarity in the high end and as much grit/OD as you could ever want. Not stadium levels but loud enough in the studio or for a small gig. Lot's more headroom and tone than the old Ampeg piggy back!
