Hi,i have a question about the kathode grounds.
In the pictures of #124 i can`t locate them.
I am in the proces of changing my amp(again:-)and while i had them on the groundbuss i am wondering if there is a better place to put them.
Thanks in advance,Ed

I think they are connected on a chassis bolt near the input jack (check photo #51, 80 & 81, black wires)Ed de Jager wrote:In the pictures of #124 i can`t locate them. ... while i had them on the groundbuss i am wondering if there is a better place to put them.

Yep, I went through the same thing. The cathode grounds exit through the tone stack cap hole and the PI input hole on the board. Very hard to see in the pics. Both ground to the ground tab near the input jack.

Re: Kathode grounds
Norm maybe you can answer this?
Why on the D'Lite do we ground those to the buss wire instead on the ground lug by the input?

What about the PI ground?Normster wrote:Yep, I went through the same thing. The cathode grounds exit through the tone stack cap hole and the PI input hole on the board. Very hard to see in the pics. Both ground to the ground tab near the input jack.
What do you think of this picture.
Looks to me like the PI tube ground follows the PI input lines (green). My interpretation is that the black wire (PI ground?) came out of that same hole in the circuit board as the green one (PI input) and they both go to the jacks on the back. Looked to me like the PI ground is through the jack. Is this right? What do you think?
