Source for boards?

Post by dan46n2 »

I'm trying to find a board to start building a #102 but so far I have only been able to find an SSS eyelet board on Hoffman amps. Does anyone know of someone selling eyelet boards of the #102 or a link to a diy file I can send to Hoffman for a custom made board? Also tried to message frusicante if he had any PCBs left but haven't received a reply. A BOM of the #124 I looked at mentioned http://www.agbamplifiers.com/ but it appears that website is down. TIA :)

I saw that thread, I guess my question is how do you use the PDF files there and convert them to a DIY? I tried to import them with DIYLC but that doesn't work. I'm assuming whoever posted those files used PDF for a reason?

He might have been referring to his rar file attachment later in the thread... otoh I tried downloading it, extracting it with 7-zip and it is a file of type lay6? Don't know what that specific format fits, but I'm guessing it might be gcode you can upload to pcb manufacturers?

No, I was referring Martin's PDF file. PDF files can be printed on a papaer and used as a template for drilling. Sometimes I use Corel Draw to import pdf, transform, resize, and then print on paper. This is usually enough for making boards.
As for the *.lay6 files, this is for processing in the Sprint Layout program - a convenient light application with the ability to get standard GERBER files. https://www.electronic-software-shop.co ... ut-60.html
