Ltspice files

Post by rootz »

Lately I'm receiving some requests for the Ltspice files I use. Many of the schematics I draw up are in LTspice. I use the simulations to get an estimate of the amps behaviour. I'm perfectly happy with drawing load lines, calculating Thevenin equivalents, etc. etc. Still Ltspice is a useful tool when designing amps and other stuff, much like pen and paper and some good thinking is.

So, as a complement to the other methods used when designing circuits, I'm posting the files I use here.

Keep in mind I generally don't add circuit constants in my schematics. There is stil a lot of room for improvement in the methods I use. I'm asking only one thing in return for sharing: help me improve on the simulations. Better models, methods, etc.

Here are the tube models I use. When testing against real tubes these come fairly close. The xls contains data for transformers. the zip is one of the schematics I'm working on.
