Hello,
I am building up a Dumble ODS 101 HRM preamp. To reduce the number of switches and controls of the clean section, I simplified the Skyline Tonestack by removing the PAB, Deep & Bright switch so that they should be all statically off.
My starting point was the ODS-101-HRM Rev1.4 schematic from this forum.
The outcome looks as follows.
Now I get far too much bass compared to the original schematic which I have already successfully built. Also a the treble pot has a much too strong effect on the overall volume.
I am not sure if by removing the Deep circuit completely I did the right thing to have a configuration that is "Deep off".
Could please someone help me by a review of what I did and point to any findings ?
Any help is appreciated !!
Thanks to all of you,
esist
The beauty of simplicity !

Looks ok to me. Maybe you have a wiring error somewhere? The only change I would make is to the mid boost switch wiring, making so that it shorts the 390p cap when mid boost is off.

Nice first post!
Did you ever figure out the "too much bass" problem?
