HELP Identifying Mic Input,,,,Adapter Needed,,,

Good day all & hope all are doing the best they can!
WHAT IS THIS?,, & kindly direct me to a plug or adapter so I can use/make a 1/4" jack out of it... Thank you & be well~~

Looks like a UHF jack. The same UHF male connector (PL259) that is used in radio work will usually plug into those old PA inputs.

I have never seen a direct adapter for what you need but one could be made with a male PL259, a 1/4" female jack and a short cable between. The teeth from the PL259 have to filed off where they contact the ground of the female plug. The older style female jacks did not have the points cut into them. They are there to keep the plug from spinning.

I'm assuming that this is a vintage piece of PA gear... right?

Yeah,, it's an old 50's P.A. amp.
