KiCad Transformer Models/Symbols

Post by mirage_indigo »

This is a long shot, but does anyone have a KiCad symbol for a transformer with UltraLinear taps?
We build because we must.

Have you used the ki-cad symbol editor before? Like all of kicad, there is a bit of a learning curve. But it is very easy to add pins to an
existing symbol and not much work really to draw up a whole new symbol from scratch. I create all my transformers with the symbol editor
based on one simple transformer template that has no taps on either the primaries or secondaries. Then it is dead simple to just add in some
new kicad pins with the symbol editor to make one for whatever transformer you are using.

I'd shoot you one of mine but kicad recently changed the way their library thing works and I'm not sure right now how to do the export.
