RELAY PROXIMITY

Post by ViperDoc »

I've got three relays in my next build, my first using them. I'm using Hoffman relay boards that I'm going to cantilever off the main board closer to the input on the front of the amp. I'll screw the relay board on the edge of the main board and let the relay hang off the main board to keep them out of the way. I'm going to space them apart enough so that their wires are not canoodling too much, but how tightly can I line them up without causing a problem in terms of noise? They will hover underneath the volume and tone controls but make no contact with them.

Thanks.
Just plug it in, man.

Put them as close together as you want; I don't anticipate any noise issues.
