All seem in order. Thank you Mr Manning. You people are amazing.
Re: Powerboard question
So I am comparing the three builds, Trainwreck -Dumble 100w and the 50w. The 50w has a very little response on the bass/middle/and the treble pots. I wonder if there is something wrong with the wiring. Is there a way to check that?
Re: Powerboard question
Your 50w is a 2nd gen right? Your 100w a #183?
Does your bass pot have a resistor to ground?(buss bar) If so: what value, pls measure!)
2 nd gen usually have a limited range on the mid pot.
Reason for this is the .02uF across the bass pot it dumps a fair amount of mid to ground.
In my 2nd gen builds I use a .002uF across the bass pot outer lugs. So just 1 cap and as a result a "bettter" mid range control.

Hi Erwin. The resistor to ground is 10k. I used the third gen layout.erwin_ve wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 12:01 pmYour 50w is a 2nd gen right? Your 100w a #183?

Re: Powerboard question
Seems like a didn't see that these two points on the pic should be connected. Now the b/m/T pots work.
Another thing is that I am a bit disappointed in the level over overdrive in this amp. The 100w #183 has a fantastic overdrive, but the 50w seems to lack it. Any tips on why? (Ok, I fixed it.)
