I was playing around with the online TSC and tweaked it to get a wide and useful response.
I'm only interested in the clean channel as my upcoming amp project should have a dumble kind of clean preamp channel, a switchable 6u8a input stage to boost the clean channel and a cathodyne EL84 PA without feedback.
The dumble tone stack offers the "Rock" mode which is kind of a FMV stack with seperated mids while the"Jazz" mode is close to a James stack: https://www.guitarscience.net/tsc/dumble_rock2.htm
What are your experiences with the mode switch? Doesn't the Jazz mode (with mids engaged) offer pretty much the response of the Jazz mode when adjustments are taken? Do you guys switch often between them?
Also the volume/gain control seem to have much influence on the bass frequencies. Do you guys tend to turn the gain pot all the way up or is the sweetspot for cleans in the lower range of the pot?
I think about ditching the gain control connected to the tone stack and stick to the Jazz mode as the James stack is volumewise very flexible as the bass and treble is turned up or down simultaniously.
Also how would you guys compare the sound of a boosted clean channel to an unboosted ODS lead channel?
Do you prefer the local feedback stage for cleans?
Looking forward for impressions!

Here are the values I would try.

Re: Dumble Tone Stack Questions
A lot of questions: if you never build a d style amp before, stick to a documented one you like and start modding once you're familiar with its sound.
Making plans before even trying a documented build maybe a step too far.

Re: Dumble Tone Stack Questions
I have a Kitty Hawk Supreme 2 which is basically similar to the dumble clean topology but has only controls for treble and bass. Has those mid switches as well and I really love the clean sound of this one.
My tone stack is pretty much the same as the Kitty Hawk but with the added mid control. I always found the James stack very inutuitiv to use..
I did a view experiments with the trainwreck kind of amp I built with mid shifts and lots of different pot and cap values and the TSC helped me finding the right sweeps.
Also this is a kind of a budget amp and I would like to use most of the parts I have laying around and I don't want to add all those switches..
There's no need to nail a specific sound, I'm just curious about handling the tone controls and getting a wide useable sweep.
Think of this project like a Tweedle Dee with extended tone stack and front end boost..
