Thanks Phil,
only the mains connections to the transformers are missing.
I will listen to "Smoke On The Water" from "live in Japan" then. Fingers crossed it will not happen....

Cheers

Greetings!

It's done.
done.jpg
Wireing is a mess, I know, but it works. I'll clear things up if there are issues in the future.

I got a short video clip on my dropbox:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/4frfrjtn5n5di ... 7.mp4?dl=0

Hope you can watch it.

It was the very first guitar tone on it. No bias, OD or PI adjusted.

I'll tweak a bit more tomorrow and show up some more sounds in the near future.

Cheers
Gerhard

Greetings!

all grounding issues are fixed now, so it was time to get dressed for the audience:

I decided to put a green LED instead the NTE452 into the FET board, because it was not available shortly. Sounds pretty good, very clear and bright... :D :D :D :D

Thank you so much for your advice and help with that build. And thanks to everybody who shared all the files with us. Without, this build would never ever be possible for me!

Cheers
Gerhard

That sounds glorious! I'd love to hear more of this amp. Sounds very different from mine, though both share the same DNA.

Thank you. Fixed some oscillation and hum problems. It has become more clarity and smotheness now. Maybe we come closer with the next demo.

Cheers

Congratulations Lothy!
What brand of output tubes do you have, and which OT did you mount here? Thanks

The tubes are JJ's. OT is a standard Hammond Twin 125A29A / 022889. PT Hammond 290FEX - 125P34A / 022756 (240V only).

Greetings!

Ok, it took a while, but I had to practise first... :D

The reverb is a DIY-Kit with a Belton-Module straight into the loop. I can`t find any issues with the standard loop. Works perfect for me, with all of my time based pedals/effects.

Cab is a cheap chinese 212 - open back loaded with Eminence speakers from an AX2/212. It does the job, but there is some room for improvement.

I must say, this is the best amp I ever had. For 2 reasons:

1. It sounds really good. Clean & overdrive with no compromises. Total respect to HAD for his great sound engineering performance on this amp.
2. I built it by myself from allmost scratch (ok, except chassis & headshell). It's like a child, you have to love it.

I will upload another video soon, where I try to achive a more fordish kind of tone (the amp still can, but my fingers are in the way...).

Cheers
Gerhard

Very nice! Can you point to the Belton reverb kit you are using?

Wow, that tele, amp and you is an amazing combo. Is there anything you can share about how loud the amp was when you recorded. Sounds like it was turned up quite a bit. Also would love to know what pickups you use in that blue Strat. Doesn't sound like a vintage low output pickup to me. Did you use any kind of boost in front of the amp? Anyway, asking for details, details and more details
