Who knows what might have been wrong with it, or if anyone even tried to find out. Even if it was sold for "crazy" money, KH may be having a bit of seller's remorse? I don't think any amp could sound $750k good, though. That's nuts x10, and at that point it's not the sound that's driving the price anyway. I think part of the problem was that it was bought second hand, and had been tuned for the original owner. I'm just going to throw a huge assumption but I doubt the original owner had a similar play style and tone in mind, compared to Kirk and probably why it didn't work out so well...
