I’m trying to get my amp back to stock and start from scratch. Just want it to sound like a proper JMP and the big names don’t have time and are too busy with their amp lines to do anything. It has been modded, but not molested, I’ve been told it’s easily reversible (it’s a name builders mod). I’m at a loss as to where to have this done.
Any help is appreciated.
Btw I’m on the west coast in Northern California

Did you try Backstage Service in Cotati?
Skip Simmons moved to the foothills.
What mods were done? Are the transformers stock?
Cheers,
Greg

Skip Simmons lives pretty close to me(half hour) but I didn’t know anything about him, other than it looks like he is into early early gear...I’ve only recently seen his web page.
If he comes recommended I’d prefer to use him as he is very local.
The mod is a known builder mod, I’d rather use PM for that info, used one vertical input to install a switch.
Original transformers. I wanted somebody familiar with what this amp should sound like, to do the work.
