Well, as someone who owns a couple of vintage Supros, that sounds Supro-ey AF. Nice!

A turkey can see a human hair orbiting Jupiter! It's a fact!

Bending my own chassis from 0.090" stock. It's overkill, but I love the thick metal. I have to score part way thru with table saw to be able to bend it with my cheap Harbor Freight metal brake.
What blade did you use to score the aluminum? Thanx, cvk

An old carbide cross-cut 10" table saw blade that I don't give a hoot about. Same blade I use to cut the Aluminum to shape. Works great, but spits flakes in my face. Eye protection!

Caveman style! I love it.
I always wear eye protection, some times not the right hearing protection, but eyes, always!

I see a vision of you riding a modified scooter about 90 down an interstate with a collector style face mask to deposit more bugs on your teeth.
Fearless and happy.

Ha! Close to home. Here's my ride:

and I did modify it by adding another battery to raise the voltage from 36 to 48.

Yeah. That's the one from my vision... but it had 96 volts and a wider drive tire.
There was a volcano and an asteroid in the background. Poorly educated children were watching Twitch streams of people playing free games on their phones. All civilization was a finger-fouled reflection from composite artifice.
Digital information does not leave a fossil. Galactic explorers will never dig up a banner ad for MyPillow. Lost culture without voice in the void of time.
I don't know if you should do the voltage doubler.
Meh. Go ahead.

Imagine the size of the heat sink I'll have to add to that puny 500w motor if I double the voltage.
(Also, why do I keep taking your suggestions seriously?)

Warnings. All warnings.
500w? And you are ok with that?

Well, yes. Because the other horse in the barn is this:

About 78kW.
