Hum and buzz can mean many things. It can mean one of the grounding points isn't isolated away enough from another causing a ground loop, it could be just wiring lead dress needing to be adjusted, etc. Get a wooden chopstick and try moving around leads and see if it gets worse/better, etc. Also do the chopstick touch test to all components and leads to see if it goes away or gets worse too. (just make sure it's a wooden chopstick so you don't kill yourself).

Thanks for the Tips Phil.
I 've been using a bamboo bbq skewer and it is serving me well as i have a bag full of em.
My vibe is still that the relays are not wired right. I have a good clean sound but no OD right now.
the switches in the front are all making sound changes to the sound. There is a variable ooooowwweeeee coming out the amp when i turn the OD volume knob right now as well ? and when i switch to pedal in the back from OD I get no sound. It's been thirty degree's here for a week so only toying with it in the morning for a few hours while it's cool out . 4 power tubes is to hot to run later in the day.

Seems like you have been following two different layouts and using pcb’s that don’t match either one. If you haven’t also been using a schematic or otherwise worked out the relay and footswitch functionality, then yes I think lucky is accurate!

well the luck fest continues....
today i wired the foot switch like the brown note layout and got PAB and OD working on the first try!!!!
I used a generic apex two button foot switch and desoldered everything in it .
I then connected and tested with my multi meter and had 12v when the LED was off at the two lugs on the foot switch . which you'd think was odd ,but i read somewhere that .that's the right way ,so as to have the LED come on when I have PAB or OD on!!!!! 8)

and ya next amp will not have boards from different sources, as it does make for more issues to figure out.
and I did have this schematic as well....

so today i did some trouble shooting and found one of the JJ 6l6gc power tubes is only reading 20mv ? so I swapped it with the tube next to it and see that the tube itself was the problem.
All other tubes biased at 40mv (as read using the bias probe points)
so waiting on a tube for now.
I also have only 205vdc on V3 the PI tube at pin(s) 1and 6?
I am hoping that when the new good power tube comes that that number will go up to 300vdc ,but for now that's another mystery.
One good thing i did today, was to add some 120r 1watt resistors on the heaters ,and that made my amp much quieter. i could finally turn up and fiddle with the trimmer pots.

here's a gut shot
