Yep - I agree. The elevated heater wiring would have been better to do later in the process. There is a lot to work around on that back panel.

I did elevated heater wiring in the Princeton, but must have done it later, as I don't recall having to work around it. All of my other builds (Marshall's and a TrainWreck Express) were lying flat.

On this build I was following "RJ Guitars" amp building protocol - which I haven't in the past. That may need an asterisk for designs using elevated heater wiring.

Too late now, but I second this. My first builds all suffered from melted heater insulation. We likely have all been there *Looks very nice so far, BTW.

Thank you - and yes, I totally agree on the elevated wiring thing.

My only previous build with elevated heater wires was a Princeton Reverb, and I don't recall having to work around those, so I must have done them later in the process. I am sure I will remember having to work around these - as there are a lot things to connect on that back panel.

Ah - my bad then. I thought maybe all of my questions had turned annoying (which might be understandable).

Again, I really appreciate the knowledge sharing and support. You have contributed some fantastic details in response to some of my previous posts/questions (and I am sure I am not alone on that). Really can't thank you enough.
