It's finished everything is adjusted. Had to play with the dropping string a little. It sings the clean channel and the overdrive channel watch out.
I'm happy. :D :D :D

Nice work. :D So you went with the Pihers on the plates should be smoooth. My last JTM build I used them throughout and love em!..Let me know how they work out in a Dumble style vs the Metals :D

I had to try the Pihers On V-1. I may change to 135k 2k2 135k 2k2 MF7C Mepco Electra 1% Just to balance things out just a little dark on V-1 with the FET input it's perfect
The other disappointment is the Marstran 1202-118 PT B+1 421 volts under load played with the dropping string and V-2 207v/207v V1 201v/200v
It worked out well the power amp is not as loud as my other builds so I can turn it up on stage and not use a dumbelator.
After some burn in time I will put some NOS tubes in it. My PI voltages are lower 259v/266v should make the PI tube last longer.
On the clean channel and overdrive channel it's a harmonic generator infatuate sustain. Last I tried 100pf 200pf on the bright switch will change to 250pf and 500pf.
One more the PAB I used 20m to me it worked better than the 22m just the right level of volume boost.
Time to build a combo cabinet now.

Thank you all, Steve.

Changed V-1 to a mid plate 135k/2k2 x2. V-1 voltages 205/205 V-2 voltages 205/205 I can't ask for any closer voltages than that.
Got rid of the darkness. Now replace the 100pf silver mica with a 500pf silver mica on the bright switch.

Just finished used a old cabinet with a Fane 12L I love this new amp. It makes my SSS amps sound like the oats that have been run through the horse. :)

Is it just because they don't have the OD?

No disrespect to the SSS guy's I spent close to 4 years building prototypes They sound good but not great.
When I built the 150 watt amps I could have bought a Marshall Major that's what my builds sounded like.
I will be 60 years old next month I don't like heavy weight amps now.
I would like to thank all on TAG

Steve.
