Looks reasonable to me. I am a single-coil guitar guy, though, so ymmv. It's really up to you though... This is a very versatile amp, capable of a wide range of tones. The MV bright cap is another place you can tweak, especially if you are playing at low volume. I have 30P there.

Hi , I have built the 124 it sounds great but he Overdrive channel seems a lot quieter when it is selected has anyone else had this issue . Adjusting the pot seems to make some difference but it is still not right . Any advise would be gratefully received .

Nikk, did you know that the first Volume control is part of the OD channel too? So you need to have your Volume set high enough in order to get good gain out of the OD section.
