Refuses file linking? Could you give me the exact error? I don't think it cares about any links to external stuff, it just won't allow some uploads.

Or do you mean the video link doesn't work?

I might have known him. What 15 years was that? Trower used an Ensemble during a string of shows I opened in around 88-9 and it was great. The pulse could almost knock you off your feet. wub wub. Trower has a weird tone. It's epic and so.. I don't know the word for it. Umm.. it's everything I never would have chosen without hearing it. No harmonics.. no real drive.. how does that work? And wow it works.

I removed the tubes to clean up a little and I got a couple switched positions and ended up with this for now. wehh wehh..

I think it was link type not supported when I framed it with video tags.. yes.

Ahh ok, hmm I'd have to look into what's supported in that addon then. I may be able to add .mov, but it's basically HTML 5, and maybe HTML 5 doesn't support the older .mov format. most everything is mp4 or similar stuff nowadays.

I've added support for MOV files now, it should work. Sorry. :)

I have the same amp. Greatest tremolo ever. The normal and "vibrato" channels are out of phase. Does cascading them as you have done bring them back into phase?

I had tried cascading the normal channel into the vibrato channel and it sounded awful. How did you do it Miles?

I agree about the Harmonic vibrato it does sound great, I'll have to pull the 6G7a Bandmaster out and listen to it again.
Yours Sincerely

No.. it's series.. they both play through the vib channel last.. there isn't an issue in itself.

Mark, the tail of the normal goes straight to the low input on the vib channel. I am going to move it to a 270k/270k mixer and drop it right on the vib channels first inout grid before I seal it up. I think that will work even better than it does now. At extreme setting on volume the cascade loads it up before it gets to 6 on teh normal channel. Headroom is wasted there. I love the amp as it is thiugh.

It's great to see you posting here again!

I'm gonna have to try this tremolo out.

Good to see you as well! You would love it.. as any right-minded person would. :)

Now that I understand the vib circuit I am going deep to try to do a little shaping.. maybe even tomorrow if I get a round tuit.

What are you trying to reshape in the vibrato/tremolo?

I thought there was an explanation somewhere on the internet on how it works. The oscillator part is simple enough.

Blue guitar has a brief explanation but not very technical.

Just a less tube related way to split and mix for balance so lesser balanced tubes could be used in a swap. I am thinking a couple wll placed trimmers and maybe I will use the ground switch as a speed range... tweaks!
