Extra Triode?

Another idea could be to do Mark Huss did in the Trex. This is to use the remaining triode as a "Normal" input, which is a single triode preamp stage like on the 18watters. I think this would probably be pretty cool in a Wreckas the power amp and PI are what distorts first.
