I showed these build photos to my fiance, and she's like..."why didn't you make yours look like that?".
I swear I wanted to drop my TW on her toes.
I think when some upgraded parts show up, I'm going to do some cleaning of my chassis. I have a new goal ahead.
I have a question though. Looking along the back row, you have some extra additions on this build. Obviously the bias test points and that big blue bias pot...and an impedance switch...but what are those other knobs? Are they some sort of PI matching and heater balance circuits?
(just guessing as I'm a newb and trying to read through books to learn more!)

Thanks to all of you for the kind words!
Hi Raven, yes, on the right side is a heater balance potentiometer and next -with the chickenhead- is a cut control.

Could you post a list of the parts you used (I mean, where you went 'special')?
Very nice build, probably the cleanest I've seen so far.
Hi keithrick,
Parts, where I went special....hmm... Capacitors from Tube Amp Doctor instead of Orange Drops and KIWAME Resistors if available. That's all.
I'm really glad I stumbled across this thread...I had the exact same idea to use all Kiwame's (where possible) and yellow poly coupling caps on a black turret board for my next build. Sort of a chartreuse/black thing. Now I know how good it can look!
Hope it sounds just as sweet as it looks...eagerly awaiting clips. The Kiwame's should sound really nice.
