Dumble Red Toggle Switch

Post by Bombacaototal »

The red toggle switches Dumble uses are very nice. They are different from current production ones given the pin itself is red, and not metal grey with a red cover (like the ones I've seen selling - 1st pic)

I've searched everywhere for those with no luck. I am wondering if anyone here has the part# and maker of them, and if they are available as NOS anywhere

I don't know, why, but I have a vague "recollection" that red batted switch was available at Radio Shack back in the day. Maybe I saw one while rooting around for parts at a RS in my youth.....

Thanks for the reply everyone

That is exactly what I found so far. Those red knobs available today are round and chubby. Not like the thin and flat end of the tip like the ones he uses

Haha, where does that end?
When it comes to the holy grail sound even the shape of the plastic caps matters..(like the colours of the cables).

Don´t get me wrong! No offense. I like those details too...

Hahah yes absolutely. Every bit of detail counts

The red power cables he uses on the #004 are so cool too!
