Beautiful job! Great planning and execution. You obviously took your time and it shows. Good soldering.

Thanks guys! It is a lot different once you start playing with CNC machines. I didn't drill even one single hole!! I could have bought a pretty sweet Les Paul for the price of the software though...
Amp fired right up. I ripped into it today man is there a nice rock tone on the low plate classics

Sweet build! I like the modern use of tools and tech. Wish I could justify getting a CNC, Laser etcher, etc! How hard is that solder to get into?

There's a precision sheet metal place nearby. I've done a couple chassis now and the G10 board sets. It's amazing to create something on your computer and then have someone hand it to you. Its exciting (for me) because it involves guitar amps. Ha!sonicmojo wrote:Sweet build! I like the modern use of tools and tech. Wish I could justify getting a CNC, Laser etcher, etc! Solder was not bad at all. I was dreading it! I have a big order going to Germany so needed to go lead free.
I did a ton of research on lead free alloys and flux types and settled on a .031" as close to eutectic as I could find. It's really easy to solder with but it's nasty. It has a waxy feel and the fumes smell horrible.
