My 1st Dlite Clip

Post by DaveBo32 »

I hope you enjoy this clip. Excuse the playing, I'm still tweaking this thing. I'm playing through a Speaker Warehouse vintage 30 copy and Hammond iron. I added a little reverb. I'm digging the sound, but still getting use to the touch sensitive and using my volumn on my guitar for a change. Thanks guys for your help.

The clean is nice and sparkley. Excellent job.

I'd like to hear that OD as that's my favorite Dumble tone. I also have a cab with the warehouse V30, sounds great but I use a cab with a warehouse V30 and G12H copies also, nice combination together.

I'm playing a 60th anniversary american strat.
I'm a little sloppy, I just don't get enough time at home. I have a 14 month old daughter that takes up alot of my time. Also I don't get to crank it up, since the only time I get to play is after my daughter goes to sleep. That one thing I really love about the Dlite, it sounds pretty darn good at low volumes.

Thanks for the compliment,
Dave

Cool that it sounds good turned down.
Are you running 6V6's?

Ya, I'm using 6v6's. My pwr transformer is rated at 180mA. if I wanted to run 6l6's, 200mA is recommended. I have tried 6l6 for a short time...they sounded good to. I just started to panic, that if I continue to use them I would do damage to my iron. I plan on updating my iron eventually.
