Rocket headoom question

I'm looking for an AC30 style amp and figured building a rocket would be a good idea. Correct me if I'm wrong, the TW Rocket is similar to a Vox AC30 top boost channel? Is there any way to modify the layout to be more similar to the normal channel of an AC30 and give it a bit more headroom? If there is a layout anyone knows of similar to this it would also be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If you can build the amp properly, then you can easily change the layout to the non top boost.

Look at the schems, it is extremely simple.
