When running a VVR, should I not bias my tubes hotter? In reality, during actual playing conditions (VVR reducing B+), the tubes would be operating too cold??
Should I calculate the bias with the VVR adjusted voltages?
If cathode, no worries. The whole system (except heaters which are not scaled) scales organically--relative bias is maintained.
For fixed bias, the bias voltage should also vary--the London Power circuit scales the bias voltage also. I have never installed VVR for fixed bias, so I'm just repeating what I've read.
