Re: Fender Bassbreaker
Well,
I'd have to actually BUY one to do that!
The only two of the series that seem to get good reviews are the 15 watt and 45 watt. The 7 watt has diddle for features and seems to be kind of a one trick pony. The 18/30 is just bizarre in it's concept and again, no features. The 15 is the only one that has reverb or loop, what's Fender about that?
I think all but the 15 are poorly conceived.
Just My $.02 & No Gut Shots!

I played the 7, 15 and 45 in GC. Hated the 7 - cleans were boring and dirt was awful. The 15 was not much better. The 45 actually sounded OK, but nothing I'd want buy. YMMV

Re: Fender Bassbreaker
I watched the Fender publicity video... I was not inspired by any of the tones captured in the video.

Re: Fender Bassbreaker
Yeah, and Leo Fender got it from a Western Electric manual. So, he didn't invent it either.Smokebreak wrote:So it's a '59 Bassman with el34s and all ax7s? Isn't that a JTM45? They stole it back!!!
Diva or not? - Respect for Mr. D's work....)
Re: Fender Bassbreaker
Just out of curiousity does anyone happen to know what manual it was? The only one i could find consisted of tube data.
