As I mentioned in the video, i had a little more hum than I cared to have. I did the two things that actually helped a lot. I switched to my hand made tele with very quiet Razor pickups and second, I realized ( after watching one of the Uncle Doug's videos on you tube) that 29 mA of a plate current is a little too much for 6V6 tubes ( almost 12 W plate disapation). I rduced it to 21mA ( about 8 Watt of PD) and the amp have gotten quiter amd less midrangy... I will keep experiment with adding mid range pot - see what happens.

Do you still have an open chassis? Any flourescent lights nearby? It's possible that the source of the hum is not inside the amp.

The more I play the better it sounds. I do have fluorescent lights in my shop, so after I turned all the hum generating stuff off, the amp became very quiet. Plus one must keep his guitar at list 4 ft away from the Power Transformer as well.
I was not able to come to my work today due to a heavy flooding here in Houston ( my home stayed dry though), so I worked on building a small housing for my little amp. Here is what I come up with out of different pieces I found in my garage:

Later on I might wrap it with tolex, but the black paint should do for now. I will also build the logo, to cover that square hole on the front panel. :)

One more update. I decided to add Mid Control pot to this amp. I installed it in series with my 6.8K resistor that goes to the ground on my tone stack. At first I tried 10k, but it barely made any difference. Next, I installed 50k pot and, boy, it made a lot of difference! It adds a lot of gain and overdrive - I love it. But I noticed that I lost some of my head room - not much of a clean sound. Did it happen because of the pot addition of I bumped something inside my amp and did not notice it?

Adding more resistance between the tone stack and ground will reduce both its effectiveness and its losses, so the following stage will receive a much larger signal. That is most likely what you are hearing.
