in for repair, I hadn't seen one yet, the cab is interesting.. portaflex
the box closed except for what looks like the control recces on the front...
may be to double up the cab for other models, ie open back and a fixed top
pretty neat rig, the original sales placard in side puts it at 3/11/ 67
sold thru Clausons music land down to Corpus Cristi TX.
there been some noodling on the speakers/loading, might have issues on the power side.

As in many old Ampegs. Yes see to the power surprise problems ASAP, you don't want to risk having to replace potted power transformer - unless it's already shot.Andy Le Blanc wrote: might have issues on the power side.

I'm looking forward to it. The description of the current owner said he cooked it but he couldn't remember etc.
Might be simple, by the report of the smell... resistors burn... caps and tranny have a waxy stink, I'll see... the load was tinkerd wif.. could be power tube and screen grid etc...
always fun to guess sight un seen, and then whats really up the rig...
