First off this thing is awesome.
I have two questions for anyone who might be really good with this.
1St: how do you calculate Z. I believe this is right term I'm going off memory here.
2Nd: how do you simulate a simple 1 volume 1 tone pot? Like a Princeton of matchless spitfire

Use this calculator to calculate preamp valve output impedance.
Not sure about the simple tone circuit. Probably not worth simulating is it as its so simple?

Re: Duncan tone stack calculator
That's a handy little calculator.
In my opinion a cranked Princeton is probably my favorite tone. Don't get me wrong tho that can vary well change. But seeing as its one of my favorites I wanted to see the frequency response so in a future build I may know how to tailor the tone stack to my liking. Or rather have a start in point.

Re: Duncan tone stack calculator
The 1 Volume 1 Tone controls just simply roll off the high end a bit. Not really worth calculating. Besides, you're better off hearing the effect rather than seeing it
. If it was a 3 control tonestack (Bass, Middle and Treble) then yeah you'd want to see it first but not for a simple control like that.
Re: Duncan tone stack calculator
I don't like those treble-bleeding tone controls.
The Carmen Ghia is way better (it's sort of Selmer frequency shape between 1st and 2nd stage) and gives a midcut plus a balance between lows and highs.
I use this king of treble-bleeding tone control only when I want to add a presence control to modern hi-gain leads with dedicated tonestacks.
