Its funny, while I was reading this post the guy selling the amp texted me about it. I actually don't think 50K is that out of line for this amp but yeah it is a lot of dimes. :)

Yeah I asked the owner of the amp and he said it is looks like it is sold if the inspection goes well.

Looking through the archives, it looks like this was once Gregor Hilden's amplifier?

I pulled the photos and merged them with my copy of Rob's site photos.. It'd be great of Rob's site had content management capabilities so we could submit updated and additional photos and create a definitive collection.

I was literally about to say, that looks like the Dumble that Greggor Hilden used to have, then I read your post.
Interesting, how he sold it, and then picked up a few clones for a while. I wonder if he's still using the D style amps. Seems like he favors his Fender a lot. It does sound good.

I believe Gregor co-owns a music store in Germany.

So he gets to play anything that comes through the door.

That #94 ODS seems to have changed a few hands since Gregor had it.

That era has the best visuals imo- great style with the trim, suede, the ODS logo in the Cooper font..

anyone have gut shots ?
