Odd design but the clips I heard sound pretty cool.

I don't really get breaking the PA out into a separate enclosure... If you want your amp in two pieces, head / speaker cab makes more sense. I get that he wants to get power supply noise away from the preamp, but proper layout and PS design will get you there.

I know! Worst problem with combos is microphonics with preamp tubes. Seems lame.
