Pre-build that tone stack

Probably something that many have seen. But for new builders this is a lot better than fighting poor access in the chassis. Just screw em down, solder it up, pull it off and drop it in all done.

I've done something similar on several builds. I mount the pots on the outside of the chassis, wire them up, then just flip the whole assembly to the inside of the chassis.

I do the same thing with input jacks. Especially for 4 input amps. It works great!
