Can someone explain how the Dumble 3 tube reverb works? I've searched google and the amp garage forum search and I can not find the answer. I have an idea, but I'm not sure if I'm correct. Also tubes used?
Is the second tube a cathode follower? I read the Dumble 3 tube reverb has a cathode follower, but I can not find that post again.
Does the CF drive the tank through coupling caps or does it drive a reverb transformer?
There is a send control. Is this nothing more than a dwel control feeding the grids of the first amplification tube? And is return the standard reverb control?
How does Dumble 3 tube reverb work?

Re: How does Dumble 3 tube reverb work?
Thanks!
Can you shed some light in text on how it works?
You said in your thread the amp really came to life when you did the post PI cathode followers. I'm going to try post PI MOSFET source followers on my DRRI. I'm hoping for similar results. The amp sounds pretty good with my current mods. I'm hoping for bolder and cleaner.
