What's this resistor do?

It's acting as the grid leak for the LTP main input.
The cathode V3 pin8 is a low impedance dc reference source for the LTP grids.

Thanks! That makes sense now that I look at it, and realize this one is AC coupled.

I wanna do this PI, but use an additional voltage divider/filter node to set the bias, rather than using a tube. Will that affect the input impedance at all? Can I leave the 100K as is?
