Hey all,
I was hoping that someone could help me figure out how to add the test points featured on the Ceriatone OTS to my #124 build.
My confusion is due to the the output tubes in #124 being wired a la Fender, with the grid-stopper resistor connected to pin 1, where the OTS has pin 1 connected to pin 8 and the test points/ground. I have found a few alternative schemes for adding test points to Fender amps, but being that I'm using a Ceriatone chassis I'd ideally rather use the mounting holes that are already available.
Thanks.
#124 ODS with OTS test points?

Re: #124 ODS with OTS test points?
Pin 1 is not connected in 6L6 tubes so Fender used that socket pin for a tie point. You're trying to measure current going into the cathode, pin 8. Just put the 1R's between pin 8 and ground, and connect the test jacks to pin 8. If you have the half-power switch wired in, put the 1R's between the switch and ground for the two tubes involved, and connect the test points to the switch.

Thanks, that's what I assumed but I figured I'd get some reassurance from someone more knowledgable than myself.
Better safe then sorry!
