How I can determinate if my Log pots are 30% or so?

Set pot at 0, 10, 20, 30%, etc., measure resistance, plot on graph.

Just to add that most linear pots will show half value at 50% rotation.

Here is a plot of six 7k5 PEC 2W pots.

To Tom's point, check out the midpoint. It is close to half of the stated value.

CTS 500kA:
0 - 0.01
1 - 0.02
2 - 8,7k
3 - 20,1k
4 - 31k
5 - 43k
6 - 66k
7 - 136k
8 - 291k
9 - 438k
10 - 483k

Fender orig. 500kA:
0 - 0,01
1 - 0,02
2 - 7,4k
3 - 18,3k
4 - 29,2k
5 - 39,9k
6 - 60,9k
7 - 111,5k
8 - 250k
9 - 406k
10 - 447k

are these 30% ?

Divide the value at "5" by the value at "10" (the resistance of the entire element). Looks like these pots are nominally 10% taper.

I've used cheap pots and expensive pots.

For some reason I always circle around and use Alpha pots.

Cheap and they work good.

Supposedly if you order 1,000+ units from CTS you can get whatever specs you want.
