Here is Mojotone's take on an adjustable chassis stand. I can't endorse it because I've never used it, but it may be worth a look.

Or, for us cheap old bastards, a couple of boards, a bolt, washer and a large t-nut. Base board has a channel on the right side center. The right upright has the t- nut installed in the bottom, a bolt and large washer insert into the upright through the slot routed in the base.

Guys, I made a Amp Cradle Sticky post above.
If you can post your ideas in that thread that would be great.

Re: A generalized chassis support for the workbench
I work mostly on Trainwreck sized chassis so when I needed something to use to display "amp builds in progress" at the Tempe Guitar Show this year, I built a couple of these. I've been using one on the bench ever since... they give you great access and gets the amp up off the tubes. Not perfect but 30 minutes with a table saw and a little leftover wood made a decent bench stand.

That's sweet RJ, I just built a quick stand tonight at the shop it took about 10 minutes, I nailed a 3 x 2 board to the side of a 2 x 4 so I had 2 T looking pcs of wood then drilled holes in them side by side and feed a pc of 1/2 inch tubing 20 inchs long so I can slide them in and out, My builds are always taking a beating while im building it, scratching up the transformers I was too cheap to buy one but man they come in handy in gonna build a few more as I always seem to have a couple amps in some stage of building
