ODS with built in Dumbleator

Post by metalguy »

Hi,

I want to build an ODS with a built in Dumbleator. I did some search and I couldn't find any corresponding layout. It's pretty amazing how many layouts are available but none where the loop is included or maybe I did poor search job or something. If so please point to such a layout. Until then I have couple of questions:
In some schematics the Master is wired directly to the second triode stage in others it's after the OD relay. Considering that I want to make the loop to be switchable completely out of the circuit (via the foot switch with a DPDT relay) then where is the right place for the Master? Is it before the loop (and then the loop's output will act as a Master when engaged) or after the loop maybe hardwired to the PI input?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Amp Garage.

I know a few members here have built the D'lator into the amp chassis.

I built a standalone loop.

But I found this layout in my files.

I do not know if it is correct so buyer beware.

Might try external first see if you like or need it.
If so
Many have used Normster's layout for reference in the past
