I am planning a JM type build and was looking at the reverb section on this schematic: https://tubeamparchive.com/download/file.php?id=30388
I have never built an amp with reverb.
What transformer should I buy?
What reverb pan? How many springs? Long or short?
What tube should it be driven with? It looked like the schematic listed a 5751, but I was wondering if a 12AU7 would be a better choice?
Which reverb transformer in a JM type build?

I used Magnetic Components Fender Twin Reverb transformer set which includes the PT, OT, Choke and reverb driver transformer.
For reverb pan I am currently using the 9AB2C1B Mojo Reverb Tank (Fender 3-Spring Medium Decay) but you can use long tanks compatible with your reverb driver transformer see this

Tubes you can use 12AX7 for more gain 12AT7, 12AY7, 12AU7 or 5751 based on how much reverb signal you like, play by ear, for what suits you.

I agree with Mark. Same iron set as a twin reverb.

Thank you for the replies.
It looks as if the #22921 Fender Reverb Driver is the one that comes with the transformer sets. It looks like it matches 15k plate load to 8 ohm reverb tank... Rated 3.5W, 5mA DC... Typically used with 12AT7 tube with 2 sections run in parallel, but could also be used with 6BQ7, 12AU7 or 6SN7.
Than there is the #40-18034 Fender Vintage Style Reverb Driver. Looks like it matches a 25k plate load to 8 ohm reverb tank... Also rated 3.5W.
I also found that there is a similar choice to be made between the #22699 Fender Choke and the #40-18003 Fender Vintage Style Choke. Both are rated 4H @ 90mA, but the first one lists 110 ohms the vintage one 105 ohms.
There doesn't seem to be much difference in cost between the choke/driver and the vintage choke/driver. Is there actually any practical difference?

Re: Which reverb transformer in a JM type build?
I'm not sure about the choke differences, but I also used the Mag Comp twin reverb set. It really came out great.
